Homemade Bread!?!?!? (3-14-10)

When I think of homemade bread, I think about getting a loaf of Rhodes frozen bread dough out of the freezer, sticking it in a pan, letting it do it's thing, then baking it. I have never really thought about making it from scratch. The Rhodes way is so easy, and it tastes GREAT. Well my neighbor brought us some homemade bread the other day, and ever since Adam has wanted me to make more bread. Long story short, I didn't ever have the time to make bread, so Adam decided to make it himself.

Here is the finished product!

It is Whole Wheat Homemade Bread.

It was delicious!

Happy Birthday Adam

For those of you who don't know,

Adam has a new hobby that he absolutely LOVES.

Remote Control Helicopters and Air Planes.

He had already purchased a helicopter,

so for his Birthday present we gave his first

AIRPLANE !!!!

It is a T-28 Trojan

He was soooo SURPRISED!!!!!

Since Adam's actual Birthday was consumed with the Pinewood Derby, we did all of our Birthday Traditions and celebrating with the family on Sunday the 7th. Adam chose Eggs, Hash browns, Sausage, Bacon, Toast and Juice for his breakfast. For dinner he chose homemade Chicken Cordon Bleu and green salad.

For his dessert, I made Adam his favorite cake. Layered Chocolate cake with a Whipped Cream Frosting and Chocolate shavings on top. He also chose Rocky Road, his favorite Ice Cream, to go along with it.
