June 20-26

This week we stayed at Karen's house in Moroni again. It finally stopped raining this week. The girls were so excited to get out the water slide and play in the sprinklers. We also went to the Manti Pageant on June 24th. It was such a great preformance. Here are some pictures from the week...

June 13-19th

We stayed in Hanna/Tabiona at my mom's house this week. With all the rain we didn't get to do alot besides hang out and play inside. Grandpa Ken being the "storyteller" that he is...told Morgan that there were bunnies in all the "cow forrests" (fields) around their house. So all day long Morgan tied Knots in her ropes, getting ready to catch her very own bunny. She kept asking me to take her to the "cow forrest" !!!! Once Grandma Norma heard the story from Morgan she told Grandpa Ken that he had to find that little girl a bunny. After a phone call to Terry Lewis and a trip to Tabiona, Grandpa Ken showed up with......

BUNNIES!!!!

I think Grandpa Ken learned his lesson about telling his little granddaughters made up stories...

Scrapbook Pages

Below are scrapbook pages that I did at my mom's house. We (my sister's) started a tradition of giving my mom 2 srapbook pages per year for each grandchild, summing up the year. We normally give her the pages at Christmas time.....but not this year for the Short Family. My intentins were good. I had all the pictures copied that I wanted to use for each childback in December, I just didn't ever get them put together! OOOPPPPSSS. So I took all my pictures and some paper, stickers, etc. along on our trip. This is what I came up with....

Sorry mom that I took so long getting you my families pictures. I promise that I will have them on time this year.... One good thing came out of me waiting ... I used my mom's Cricut to cut out the kids' names...And I found a new want for my Wish List.... That thing is AWESOME!!!! Got to have one of my own some day!!!!

Visiting Dan (The Horse)

Another thing Morgan (and McKenzie) looks forward to is visiting Dan. Dan belongs to Grandpa and Grandma Curry. The girls love to feed Dan carrots and apples. With all the rain, we never got a chance to ride horses this trip. Morgan was pretty bummed, but she was happy that she got to spend time with Dan.

Staying at Karen's

We stayed at Karen's house form June 8th-12th. The girls love to play with Kailee and Brooklyn. The next few pictures are of Morgan playing with the Kittens. She is such an animal lover! While the other girls are playing with dolls...Morgan was playing with the cats or trying to coax the neighbor's horses over to the fence....

We also got to watch Kailee play on her softball team.

They ended up finishing in 3rd place.

Good Job Kailee !!! You did great !!!

The girls did alot of fun things while we were visiting with Karen. Most of all it was great to see them playing together. They don't get to see each other as often as we would like, so when they do get together, they have a BLAST !!!
