Our Little Sweet McKenzie turns 7 today!
Happy Birthday to You,
Happy Birthday to You,
Happy 7th Birthday, Dear McKenzie.
HAPPY BITHDAY TO YOU !!!!
McKenzie had a great Birthday. It all started off on Friday when she celebrated with her 1st Grade Class at school. Instead of cupcakes, she wanted to take donuts to share with her classmates. She also came home with a Birthday Sticker and pencil given to her by her teacher Mrs. Willoughby. After school, McKenzie and I, took off for a little one on one time. I was trying to get some idea's for her Birthday gift. We went to Wal-Mart, Target, and the San Tan Village outdoor Mall. We went in a few stores...Disney Store...Children's Place...and a few others.... At the Children's Place Store, McKenzie found 2 pairs of shoes that she just couldn't live without. Grandma Norm and Grandpa Ken had sent me some money to get her a gift and since shoes are hard to get the right size, I let her pick out her own present. A girl can't have to many pairs of shoes you know!!!!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Aman
On Saturday, McKenzie went on a Birthday date with Grandma and Grandpa Short. They took her to Build-A-Bear. She was so excited to go and pick out her new bear. She named her Lexi. They also had lunch at Micky D's, and stopped off and played at the park on the way home.
Thanks for the great date Grandma & Grandpa Short!!!!
The Big Day is finally here...
McKenzie's 7th Birthday!
The morning started off with Waffles and Bacon, McKenzie's favorite breakfast! Next we went to church were the Primary kids sang "Happy, Happy Birthday". After church we got the house ready for her PARTY/Superbowl Party. I didn't know how we were going to pull it off. I wanted the day to be special for McKenzie, and we couldn't miss out on the cardinals playing in the Superbowl.... But we did it... 2 Parties on the same day... all going on at the same time!!!!
We had everyone come at 3:30p so that McKenzie could open her gifts first.... (THANK-YOU EVERYONE for all the gifts...She loves them all !!!!) Then the Superbowl started!!! I helped McKenzie get all of her Craft/Stamp/Scrapbook ect. things out of the packages and off she went... creating ...stamping...glitter...she was in HEAVEN ! Meanwhile, we started serving the food.. McKenzie had chosen Mexican Food for her Birthday Dinner, so everone brought a Mexican Dish...The food was delicious! Also, throughout the day McKenzie recieved many calls from our family in Utah.....Thanks for making her day so special!!!!
After the Superbowl (Good Job Cardinals you played a great game) it was time for Cake and Ice Cream... Hannah Montana, Reese's Peanut Butter and Cookie Dough Ice Cream...all of McKenzie's Favorite!!!!
Happy 7th Birthday McKenzie!
We LOVE you!
