Today we took the whole family on a date. Both Collin and Shaylene had birthday money burning a hole in their pockets. We have been so busy with every thing else that we just have not had the time to take them out. So today we made a day of it. Collin ended up with a new MP3 player, and Shaylene ended up with more clothes and shoes. We took all the kids to see Monsters VS. Aliens at the IMAX in 3-D. It was amazing. All the kids loved the show. Grandpa and Grandma Short met up with us and we all watched it together. Afterwards we got Pizza for dinner and went to the park. We had a fun time being together as a family.
