Most of you already know the story, but for those of you who don't, here is a brief recap...
A few days before Kendon's baptism, Tanner started not feeling good. By Friday afternoon he started having sharp pains in his stomach. We took him into Urgent Care where they told us that he was "backed up" and told us what to do for him. By Saturday morning there was not much improvement. We had discussed taking him back in to Urgent Care, but decided to hold off until after Kendon's Baptism. But.... just after Kendon was baptised and we were waiting for them to come in for the conformation, Tanner threw-up! It was down hill from then. They finished up with Kendon, then gave Tanner a blessing. He wasn't getting any better....a call was placed to 9-1-1, and they took him to the hospital. After testing and ALOT of fluid, they told us that he had an Illus. It's where the digestive systems basically shuts down, nothing moving...you get the picture...Plus he was very dehydrated. He stayed at Banner Desert for 2 days then he came home. It took him until Thursday the 23rd to get back to eating normal again...Scary times but he is doing much better now.
Here are some pictures of his hospital stay. It's hard to see through his BIG SMILE, that he was a very sick boy!!!!
